Zahirah Nur Truth of ZNT Arts guest artist will be joining Lynn Museum during February Vacation for Black History Month 2024 fun interactive hand sewing workshop “The Pieces of Me”.

We will learn about the history of sewing, quilting and patch work through the African Diaspora and talk about how hand sewing was used to tell stories, pass on knowledge and share feelings.

Participants of all ages will observe basic sewing techniques and develop their own beautiful stories through art.

I am excited to present my work with this dynamic group of Brockton, Greater Boston and U.S. based artist! I have two pieces of art as part of this collection.
